New university accommodation campus 'Scape', located on the edge of the cities business district EC2.

 

Our systems included both standard 12mm toughened glass as well as 12.8mm acoustic laminated glass, giving students a more private working environment, whilst maximizing the natural light from the external windows.

 

We provided the university with a ground floor learning area, so we incorporated white interlayer laminated panels within our partition systems, allowing students to write onto the glass with a dry wipe marker pen. The interlayer prevents others from viewing what is written on the outside of the meeting room and can be wiped off at the end of the brainstorming session.

 

Our glass meeting rooms consisted of self-close floor springs and 25mm x 600mm back to back guardsman handles.

 

The glass was kept clear as the university already had an in-house branding team.
