Christ Church College, based in Horsham, Surrey. With little knowledge or scope of works, LGP were required to design and install 5 private study rooms for students, within the existing library. Due to the building being of listed status, we were required to install our glass with minimal fixing points. Also due to the high library ceiling, the glass had no structural ceiling abutment to fix too.
Our unique system comprised of flat back glass clamps, installed to the floor & wooden columns. We installed an overhead slotted stainless steel tubular rail to stabilize the glass.
Each door required an overhead glass panel to enable a functional operational door.
We incorporated corner patch fittings to increase the strength between the static glass panels and the frameless glass doors.
The glass was finished with a bespoke clear vinyl printed design.
